How [edited by moderator] do I open a chat with someone from support? All the links always lead to the same main page and I cannot find a button to open a chat or a ticket.

Even the "Real help from real people" -> "Start now" button with a headset leads to the same pointless page. I want to contact someone. HOW?

Please go to Adobe Customer Service (make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups on your browser):
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen will automatically open the chat window.
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person.

You may also be able to contact Adobe by phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

Sadly that link does not automatically open a chat window. I disabled my adblock and even tried 2 other browsers: Microsoft Edge, which I have never used and have 0 add-ons installed on, and Google Chrome. Neither of the browsers opened a chat window.
Guess I'll have to use the phone. Unfortunate.

Are you a current Creative Cloud member with a PAID subscription?

Adobe can't help users on Trial plans.  And they don't support discontinued Creative Suite products anymore.

Yes I am a Creative Cloud member with a PAID subscription. I'm a student so I'm trying to lower the cost of the PAID subscription as I was told to do in an E-Mail. Now it seems to be impossible to reach anyone that can help me in lowering this PAID subscription.

Well, I tried to find chat on 3 browsers in Win 10 and also chrome for android so it seems it disappeared for good.

Any ideas on how do I contact this legendary "support" about subscription issues not covered in the "help center" or whatever that page is?

use phone or twitter:

use a browser that allows popups and cookies and contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

p.s you can also use phone (but chat is usually quicker), https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

p.p.s. you can also use twitter to tweet @AdobeCare

p.p.p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

It still works for good. Check your firewall/proxy or your hosts settings. Using a different network (home vs corporate) may help too. Somewhere, you are blocking the popup window of the chat.

If that does not work use twitter or the phone option.

Thanks for your reply. The "contact" page only started to show the "chat" icon after cookies have been cleared and allowed again for adobe.com in my browser -- in case anybody ran into same issue.

Never in my life have I seen a website so awfully designed when it comes to finding how to contact someone in person. WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS start a process, for example start changing your plan, and then once you're into the process, before you do anything definitive, you will find the CHAT button, and you can chat. I did not even have to type "agent", a real person appeared from moment one, after a brief starting message you see written at the beginning all of chats.
