What you have is the annual subscription that is paid in monthly installments.
The only ways to cancel without paying the cancellation fee are:
Cancel with 14 days of the initial subscription. (This is available only the first time you buy the subscription.)
Cancel within the month before the end of the subscription.
You can try talking to customer support to see if they'll waive the fee. Be prepared to be told 'no'.

be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
