i saw a post frm June 2024 where Adobe responded saying they are aware of the issue and trying to resolve it.
It is now October 2024
i put a new card in so i could delete Pay Pal Smart Connect because they want access to all my accounts at the same bank and won't let me enter my bank info and make payments on a one time basis - so i just put a real credit card in,
However, even though that card is the active payment method, i don't want the payment to accidentally go to pay pal again becaues Smart connect says they have my bank account info but i have to call them to get the pamynet made - this is crazy

contact adobe support. there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

if you have or want to purchase a subscription, use a browser that allows popups and cookies

in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
