I started a free trial on Adobe products that turned out to not be compatible with my set-up. I tried to cancel the subscription immediately afterwards, but the website wouldn't let me because "I can only cancel a subscription after the first payment" which is absurd since it was a free trial and none of this was written on the T&C.
They eventually charged me and I asked for a refund, which they approved 6 MONTHS AGO. Anytime I ask costumer service about why the refund has not been issued yet they tell me to keep waiting, that "back-end" is solving the issue, and then stop the conversation.
I'm probably never getting the refund and I keep getting told to wait even after 6 months!
DONT. BUY. ADOBE. PRODUCTS.
IT IS A SCAM. THEY WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR REFUND!

I have 4 different case codes, despite the fact that I contact Adobe through their support chat literally every week and should probably have at least 20.
3 of them are "solved", 1 of them open. Not sure what they mean by the "solved" status since I have not received a refund in over 6 months. Adobe has not contacted me to explained what the issue is either.
It's exhausting and ridiculous how such a big company can't do the bare minimum

Title. I started a free trial on Adobe products that turned out to not be compatible with my set-up. I tried to cancel the subscription immediately afterwards, but the website wouldn't let me because "I can only cancel a subscription after the first payment" which is absurd since it was a free trial and none of this was written on the T&C.
They eventually charged me and I asked for a refund, which they approved around 3 months ago. Anytime I ask costumer service about why the refund has not been issued yet they tell me to keep waiting, that "back-end" is solving the issue, and then stop the conversation.
What else can I do? Are they scamming me? Am I never getting payed?

Thanks for posting about the status of your refund to this public discussion forum, Dominique. I am sorry that you have encountered difficulties receiving your refund for your trial of Photoshop.
I do see your update to case ADB-38790692-K9Z4 from today. Please bookmark and use the steps in https://adobe.ly/41MNuZO if you need to make any updates to your active support case.
We are conducting additional maintenance today and this weekend, preventing any further investigation from being conducted until it is concluded.
I see that you received a similar message on February 26th. I am not sure if there was an outage or update being applied at that time, and I am truly sorry for the continued inconvenience.
I recommend you update your support case on Monday, Dominique; the maintenance is planned to be completed by the end of the weekend. ^JW

It's been 6 months since I asked for a refund and everyone keeps telling me to wait!
This is absurd.
I'll do everything I can to let everyone know that Adobe is a scam
