elements 2019 [Redemption code not recognised]

recently purchased NOS copy of elements 2019, but Adobe doesn't recognize the redemption code. is there any way to get a serial number so that i can actually use the software?

that's 3 years old and most likely has already had its serial number redeemed, and probably illegally sold.  contact the seller.

Elements 2019 sold at a steep discount in apparently new, seemingly never opened packaging? All very convincing.

Hopefully this unrecognised redemption code is not your first red flag of a pirated version. As @kglad says, contact the seller.

Probably not. Next time buy direct from Adobe to ensure what you're getting is legitimate & supported.

Possibly they do have expiry dates.

However an unrecognized message would be different to expired or already redeemed.

Yes! May be not all, but some have.

Thanks all for showing an interest. It was a legitimate copy, took some time and a few different people at customer care, but I got my serial number and it's straightened out now.

Be sure to keep your serial number in at least two places (file copy in a desk drawer as well as a computer file) in case your hard drive ever has a problem
