Hi, I was under the impression I would be charged with the student discount but I am being charged the full price. Could someone explain this, how I could fix it, or how I can cancel my account?

you should discuss with adobe support.  there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

Hi I have exactly same problem!

I have verified my student status for this year and on my account my plan is student plan with 195 SEK fee but adobe still withdraws 300 from my account. I'm freaking out because if it wasn't for the student discount I wouldn't subscribe it and now I feel as being scammed by adobe. There's no contact options and the cancellation also has fee so I as a student with a certain amount of planned for using adobe for my studies am stuck with a fraud. I need the refund of those months that adobe skipped the student discount and charged me without it.
does anyone know how I can contact them directly?!

thank you.

Same problem, same solution: contact Adobe customer care. Please note that a second year discount is less than the first year discount!

Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Pop-up blockers need to be disabled, you need to accept cookies! If the chat window fails to open, or is non-responsive, use a different device and/or browser to start the interaction.
Support phone numbers may be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html. Kindly note that phone charges may apply.

For support via Twitter:

Important: Adobe does NOT contact you unsolicited by e-mail or direct message. If you get contacted by direct message from a person, claiming to be an Adobe employee, look at that profile and look, if they bear the “Adobe Employee” marking under their name. Adobe support does not use Skype to give you support.

If in doubt, ask the forum.
