Got a 1 year subscription for Photo Plan - Never worked

New Here ,
Dec 27, 2022 Dec 27, 2022

I purchased a 1 year subcription pre paid plan on the 27th of December 2022 on Amazon.

Entered the code in my Adobe Account only to find out that it wasn't added.

Got a confirmation mail that confirms my account is added until the 28th of December 2022 (1 Day!?) which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. IMPOSSIBLE to contact Adobe, No Phone/Chat or Mail support.

What a ****y company. I am just shocked.

  1. Curiosity, what via Amazon? Why not from Adobe? Appears a extra hurdle was added that way.
  2. Your screenshot is not one of the website at Adobe to look at your subscription, your account, your plan. What happens at Adobe.com? Go to adobe.com, sign in, manage your account, and see what is stated/shown for your plan.
  3. Have you downloaded and installed the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App yet? What is shown for apps?

Note: Not an Adobe employee, this site for customers, Adobe employees rarely interact in these postings. Also, most of Adobe is probably on vacation.

You have to contact Adobe directly for such issues. This is primarily a user-to-user forum, and we don't have any access to your account information etc.

It isn't impossible to contact them:

I'll add to what others have already advised. Adobe is on shutdown until 3rd January. So, contact with support is unlikely before that date. I appreciate that's it's not the news you want to read.

there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies, and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...
