I tried to convert an account that was previously associated with my work (paid by my employee) and was going to be shut down into a personal account with only the basic Lightroom and Photoshop plan. Everything seemed fine, I removed all associations to the employee. Then when I entered my own credit card info I couldn't change the plan and found an unexplained overnight charge from Adobe for the amount of 2538 SEK (about 250USD). That's a total of nearly 300 USD charged in one day for a service that was supposed to cost 19.99.
I need help from an actual human being and can't find how to actually access the chat or phone support.
Please help! Had to disable my credit card in the meantime to stop the flow of charges/

you're going to need to cancel whatever you created.
then you'll need to create a new individual subscription. that new subscription will be unrelated to anything you did with your previous work subscription. ie, if you want to use any of the cc files from that work account, you'll need to sign into that work account and download to a local computer all the cc files.
then you'll need to sign in to your personal account, and re-add those files to your cc files, if desired.
in any case, you have a bit of a mess on your hands, so contact adobe support per @Manan Joshi
