Hi,
I have deferred from university until next semester and need to 'freeze/pause' my Creative Cloud Membership - I cannot afford $22.00/month while I am not using the programs. I can't find a Support Email for Adobe anywhere online - someone please help me. The only option is to Cancel my membership and be charged $75.00, then resubscribe in 3 months.
I don't know what to do, surely it can't be this difficult and unforgiving?

There is no concept of "freezing" a subscription. Cancellation is the only option. You signed up for a year, but Adobe generously give a 50% discount for early cancellation - which is what you see as $75, presumably there would be $150 still to pay in your yearly contract.
If you want to go month by month with the right to cancel, it is $70 per month or so. There is a hefty discount for signing up for the whole year.

PS if you cancel you may not be able to get the student rate a second time...

Wow that is so dark sided. Thank you for the information though.

Nothing dark about it. You committed to 1 year of service. That's what annual subscription means.

>can't find a Support Email
Adobe does not do support by email
Sorry, nobody here can help with an account or payment problem
This is a public forum, you need the link to Adobe support, not other users
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
-make sure that your browser does NOT block ads, scripts, or pop-ups
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for the link to work
This link will go directly to the chat option
Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent without the quote " " marks

you should contact adobe support. they may not be able to freeze your subscription, but for sure, no one here (user-to-user forums) can help you do that.
using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

Adobe's Annual plans (and Student plans) are for a 12-month commitment. Here's a guide explaining the process which should help you find the best solution, and possibly save some time or money:
What You Should Know Before Canceling Your Adobe Subscription
If you do end up canceling instead of changing your plan, you should be able to resubscribe in the future with a student discount, so long as you still qualify.
Outside of that, we cannot really help further here, as this is primarily a user-to-user forum – so your best bet would be to contact Adobe Customer Care directly as suggested above.
