I need help purchasing the student plan for creative cloud

Good morning, I am trying to purchase the student plan for adobe creative cloud, however I can not set my primary email address to my .edu email because my school has created an adobe account with that email but it comes with no useful tools. How can I verify that I am a student so I can get the plan for student pricing?
