I wanted to install Premiere Element 2024 because it was the last version with the perennial license. I went thourgh all the purchase steps from inside the software. When I was done, it showed that I actually bought Premiere Elements 2026 with the three-year license! I want to get a refund, but I can't figure out how to do it from inside the Adobe site. One answer suggeested that I go to the Plans page, but I don't have any plans listed.
Oh, and they never sent me an activation code, either.
This just happened one day after the date on this post, so I'm well within the refund period. And I'm in the US.
Is there a number I can call where I can get this taken care of? Does Adobe make this difficult on purpose? I'm this close to just filing a dispute with my credit card company and let them deal with it.

You don't need an activation code for 2026
Your credit card comp cannot do anything, it's a legal transaction.
You need to get in contact with support over chat.
Ask for a chat with an agent.

Depending on where you purchased the app, there are different ways to request a return of your non-subscription app.
Adobe accepts returns within 30 days of receipt. It usually takes 2-3 days after you have placed an order for it to be eligible for return.
Return apps with a term license
You can also return apps with a term license, such as Acrobat, Premiere Elements, and Photoshop Elements. Follow these steps to request a return:
Deactivate the app by signing out.
Uninstall the app.
Reach out to our support team and request a return.
Adobe processes refunds within 5–7 business days. However, the funds could take longer to show on your account, depending on the payment method used.
A confirmation email is sent when the refund is complete. If you have online access to your credit account, your refund could appear earlier than on a paper statement.
Any Adobe app purchased from any seller other than Adobe may only be returned to the seller from which the app was purchased, in accordance with that seller's return policy, if any.
