Invoiced, despite canceling subscription

I cancelled my subscription 2 days ago. I pressed the button to confirm, and I was even asked to state a reason for cancellation. I was logged out of my account automatically, and when I signed back in by all means my plan appeared to be cancelled.

Today i receive an E-Mail invoice, stating that I have failed to paid the monthly fee.

I log on to CC, and realize that somehow nothing has been cancelled at all, my account is still up and running, and I have an open bill to pay.

I feel like I'm being scammed. I didn't dream this up, I really did cancel my subscription. Yet there is no trace of any cancellation, ever. I now can't access my account settings anymore until I pay.

it's not possible to reach support, and the chat bot is useless, so I'm posting this here. I am certainly not going to pay, but I hope this can be solved in some manner.

Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person
-Meaning type in the word Agent in the lower right, without the quote " " marks
or
X (aka Twitter) tweet @AdobeCare
.
