Irritated and done with Adobe for now

I'm seriously done with Adobe.  The fact that I'm being charged to cancel my account, and the amount of people complaining about Adobe's account practices has left a really bad taste in my mouth.  I'll go out of my way not to use Adobe in the foreseeable future.

Graeme, I'm sorry you didn't find value in the offerings you subscribed to. I can confirm you have canceled your plan successfully. Please see https://adobe.ly/40HdIMv for details on any applicable charges or fees.

For future viewers of the discussion, you can use the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/413L7S3 to cancel most Adobe memberships or subscriptions.

I would recommend a month-to-month plan for the maximum amount of flexibility without any concern for fees or charges; see https://adobe.ly/3Q3carq for more information. ^JW

For anyone else reading this
If you are a student, all student subscriptions are annual, there is no 'once a month' purchase
Please read everything so you know what you are doing before you buy a subscription
If you buy a HIGHER COST Monthly subscription you may cancel at any time without a fee... when you buy an Annual subscription with Monthly payments, and you do not cancel in NO MORE than 14 days from the start of your subscription, you pay 1/2 of the remaining time if you cancel early
When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while starting a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription
-LONG discussion here, with link to Nancy O'Shea 'arrows' in subscription information
-And the difference between an actual Monthly subscription and Annual paid Monthly
My Oct 4 2023 reply here discusses the different payment plans

Thanks for the notes guys, but think about this, how underhand and scumbagish is a company when you have to say "Please read everything so you know what you are doing before you buy a subscription......."  They are DELIBERATELY trying to trick consumers.  No ifs or buts.....  And I see I'm not the first person to complain about the deception....
