contact adobe support and make your case.  there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

phone:

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

First year of a student contract is an exceptional high discount. Second year is still around 50% discount, but it's more expensive. You may need to prove your student affiliation.

You can cancel free of charge during the last month of your subscription. Student subscription is always for a full year and after renewal, a new year starts and if you cancel early, you have to pay the early termination fee.

Use the links @kglad gave to you, to get your plan cancelled or may be get a new discount. Whatever you want to achieve, it works best by staying friendly.

If you feel you're paying a higher rate than you should (regular rate is USD $55/month) contact Adobe Support and tell the agent you're still an eligible student. If you're nice, they may be able to assist you.  🙂

Student Rate is $20/month for first 12 months only.  After that it goes to $30/month until you graduate or cancel (whichever comes first).

To avoid early cancellation fees, wait until your 12th month of service to cancel before it automatically renews for another year.   Your renwal date is in your online account.

https://account.adobe.com/plans.   Note the end date. Set a reminder on your Smartphone or Google Calendar.

Hope that helps.
