Hi there
I'm from Iran and I would like to purchase the legal version of Photoshop to unlock its features. However, Adobe has banned Iranian IPs (probably due to the sanctions and the fact that they cannot do deals with Iran?)
I'm currently using a VPN even to post this here! Does that mean even if I purchase the legal version, it's still going to be banned and I still won't be able to use it? Or is there a possibility that the support team can make exceptions? Has anyone ever had similar experiences?

That has nothing to do with my question 😕
I didn't ask HOW I should buy it. I asked if it would be useful to me or if it would be useless due to my Iranian IP.

no exceptions. users from banned countries are banned from purchasing from vendors in countries that have bans.

I am not a legal expert and do not work for Adobe. However, it seems to be the support team CANNOT make an exception because that would be breaking the law in the US, and would get Adobe in very big trouble. (Here's an example of the sort of big trouble for other companies that find a way to get round sanctions - 3 million dollar fine - https://kpmg.com/us/en/home/insights/2023/05/tnf-cosmetics-company-violations-iranian-sanctions.html) Adobe would of course like nothing better than the problems causing sanctions to be discussed and solved, so the sanctions could end, and they could sell their software legally to countries without sanctions. But in the mean time they must take every action they can to STOP you from using it in EVERY way. Even if you get it working one day, they could find out and block it the next day. There can be no help for you, only stopping (since you have now revealed you are using a VPN to come from a country with sanctions).
