So im looking to buy premiere pro for private use, since i now need to use it for work.
Im just wondering a lot! because of all the bad reviews on "trustpilot" people saying they cant get out of the subscription without cancel fees etc.
Now i just wanted to know if there is a way of just paying monthly without thinking about any fees when canceling? And the one i have found "Monthly plan" is freaking 275DKK Compared to only 175DKK "Yearly plan" That is 100DKK extra. EACH MONTH is that true?

Can anyone please help me find out a solution so i can begin using this NICE software.

You pay more for a monthly subscription than you do for an annual subscription with monthly payments

But you may cancel the monthly subscription at the end of any subscription month

You DO pay a fee if you cancel an annual subscription early... one half of the remaining time... AND subscription renews automatically, so you MUST cancel in time at the end of your year to keep from being committed to another year

I don't work for Adobe, so I can't answer that question

However... I serious doubt that you can buy "today" and the cancel a day later and still use the program... but you need to ask Abobe

Yes, a monthly subscription is good for the rest of your month, even if cancelled, except for the initial month. If you do not cancel, it renews automatically for a new month.

If you take the subscription by the year, the early termination fees are half of the remaining due. So at some point, you have probably interest in taking a yearly subscription.

Copy/paste from the subscription and cancellation terms (monthly subscription):

(...)

Cancellation Terms:

You can cancel your subscription anytime via your  page or by contacting Customer Support*. If you cancel within 14 days of your initial order, you’ll be fully refunded. Should you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable, and your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

You could also look into Premiere Elements (brand new 2022 version), which is a great alternative for private use. I agree, it does not have the professional bells and whistles of Premiere Pro, but it's easy to use and comes with a one-time payment of DKK 755.  https://www.adobe.com/dk/products/premiere-elements.html

Different idea: If you have a Premiere Pro subscription at work, you could also probably use that one at home. https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-apps-number-of-computers.html

Yes.  You pay more for month-to-month service.  And the price is subject to increases.

The other option is to join for 12 months at the guranteed rate (paid monthly or prepaid) and wait until your 12th month to cancel.

Your choice.

Think of it that 275 per month is the normal price, with no commitment. In return for a commitment to pay for a whole year, you get a very generous discount, and can pay 175. The cancellation fee is no mystery, then, but a way of making sure people don't get the cheap plan but don't keep to their commitment to pay for the year. Adobe generously give a 50% discount on what is left of the year's promise.

The bad reviews seem to be from people who either don't read the terms and conditions, or who want something for nothing. Commitments on subscriptions are very common, and people who don't check the terms often get bad surprises. Then they look for someone to blame other than themselves...
