My subscription plan is not visible in my student account

Last month, I inquired about cancelling my trial for Creative Cloud and I was unsuccessful to cancel my subscription before the trial ends. Now, I realized that the issue is bigger than that.

I'm going to list what I've found concisely.

  • I cannot contact Adobe Support and I have no access to the Adobe Admin Console.
  • My subscription plan to the Creative Cloud is not visible in my student account.
  • There are no activated devices listed in my account from my side
  • I'm locked out of using Lightroom and Photoshop, hence I cannot use any apps from the Creative Cloud subscription.

I can provide the order number from my transaction in March, if I can get direct line to a Adobe Support representative. I won't share my order number in the community forum. I want to be able to see my subscription plan in my account.

if there's a cancellation fee it's because you have an annual subscription paid monthly.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private

do you have a teams or enterprise subscription?

if so, contact your admin, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/contact-administrator.html

Naimz, sorry for any confusion. Please use the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/4jEkP0E to sign in under your individual account that contains your paid subscription. You may also want to consider changing the e-mail address for your new subscription to avoid future login confusion. Please see https://adobe.ly/4k4rDob for information on how to update your e-mail address to one that is not claimed by your educational institution.

Finally, Namiz, did you check with your school to see if they offer their own Creative Cloud plan? They may block access for individual subscribers to download and access Adobe applications on their network if they offer their own managed plan. ^JW

Thank you for your reply. I have found the subscription plan in my personal account. I want to cancel my subscription. However, why is there a cancellation fee? Moreover it's a substantial fee. I picked the monthly subscription option when I signed up for the free trial.

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)
