Bonjour, un ami souhaite s'abonner à Adobe creative, mais j'aimerai payer l'abonnement car c'est un cadeau, est ce que c'est possible de s'abonner, mais que la carte banquaire ne soit pas au nom de la personne qui a le compte adobe?

that's a terrible idea for both of you. it's much better to gift your friend the money for a subscription.

I'd rather pay the subscription it's easier that way, since it's automatic...but is it possible to do it, or is it a problem that it's not the same person who pays vs who use adobe?

it's terrible in this context because your giftee will not own the account which will include files uploaded to adobe's cloud service.  and it's bad for you because, unless you're very careful to maintain ownership and control, you will be liable for paying for this subscription (or even changes to the subscription) year after year, in perpetuity.

this is a good way to end a friendship.  other subscriptions may work differently and allow gifting, but adobe does not.  the payee is the owner.  but who controls the account will depend on how it's handled when set-up.

not sure this is relevent when you talk about the owning of the files..since the acount will be at his name with his email adress, he's the one owning it..i'm just the payement..

how do people who are married do if one is paying for the other?

Your friend will control the account.

If in the future the friend becomes not a friend, you have no control of the account if you don't have access to the email account. You won't be able to cancel it.  If you cancel the card, charges might accumulate on the account, and it may affect your credit rating.
