I used to be able to work offline, but some time ago these applications demand to connect to creative cloud. I am unpleasantly surprised and the customer service only says 'no you can't'. Is there a way to work offline? Am I the only one who does not agree to this?

Mieke, sorry you cannot use your recently purchased Creative Cloud membership offline. This is not normal, and with an annual membership, you can be offline for up to 99 days - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/internet-connection-creative-cloud-apps.html.
Please review any installed security or utility software settings to verify they are not damaging or invalidating the Adobe-related certificates referenced in https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/adobe-license-issues-keychain-credential-mgr.html. This damage is leading the computer to needing to be online to validate that the membership is still active.
