Photoshop CC on iPad

I have the CC Photography subscription and use Photoshop on a PC.  I am considering buying an iPad to use it on as well.  I'm a little confused by the wording on the iPad Photoshop FAQ page which says "If you have an Adobe Creative Cloud plan that already includes Photoshop, you can simply download Photoshop on the iPad for a limited time without purchasing another plan — simply sign-in with your Adobe ID.".

What does 'for a limited time' mean?  I assumed I could use Photoshop on the iPad all the while my CC subscription is valid, but this wording is making me think I can't.  Does anyone know?

Thanks, though I'm not quite sure what you mean.  Do you mean that at present Adobe are allowing me to use my CC Photoshop licence on an iPad but may not in future?  Clearly they always have the option to change their terms, but the fact they worded the FAQ the way they did suggests they may actually be planning do this, in which case I'd need to buy a separate subscription presumably.  This doesn't inspire confidence!

i agree.  adobe is not a model of clarity.

you can try to get more info from adobe support.  use a browser that allows popups and cookies and contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

p.s you can also use phone (but chat is usually quicker), https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

p.p.s. you can also use twitter to tweet @AdobeCare

p.p.p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

Photoshop for iPad is a separate app distributed from the Apple App Store.  I don't know if it will always be distributed that way. Maybe yes, maybe not.  Perhaps that's what the convoluted wording is referring to.  In any case, PS for iPad is included in your paid Photography Plan.

Creative Cloud Photography Plan (approx $10/month for 12 months). Includes the following:

  • Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad
  • Camera Raw
  • Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web
  • Lightroom Classic
  • Portfolio website + hosting
  • Adobe Express (free starter plan)
  • Bridge
  • 20 GB cloud storage (upgradable to 1 TB).
  • Free software upgrades for paid subscribers

Hope that helps.
