Photoshop (CC2018) dropped despite my Adobe Photography Plan being fully paid up

This morning my Photoshop would not open (Photoshop CC2018). My Adobe Photography Plan is fully paid up for a year since February 2022. A message tells me is it incompatible. However, it then directs me to a window offering me a 7 day trial version or immediate purchase. As I had a deadline looming for later this morning, I had no option to choose the trial. Attempts to contact Adobe (Ireland) were impossible, there is no means to contact, the phone number listed on a google search is not answered... Annoying

Any help from Adobe?

A refund?

It would help if you also told us what operating system you're using. 🙂

Re: Above

My OS is: OS X EI Capitan (Version 10.11.6)

Unfortunately, can not update OS on the Mac Pro (2008). Photoshop CC2018 works fine though.

El Capitan is not supported by Creative Cloud Desktop App anymore.  Can you launch PS 2018 from your Mac Apps folder?

For best results, Adobe expect you to use modern equipment & software, not more than two versions back.  Most Creative Cloud apps work on:

  • Windows 11 (64-bit), Windows 10 versions 21H2, 21H1, 20H2, 2004, and 1909 (LTSB branches are not supported;)
  • macOS 12 (Monterey), macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 10.16 or 10.15 (Catalina).

there may have been an inadvertent (attempt to) update your ps.

anyway, you can get directly download here, Adobe CC 2018 Direct Download Links: Creative Cloud 2018 Release | ProDesignTools, and (as you know), it is compatible with os 10.11

you should uninstall the incompatible version that's on your computer now, if it's still installed, before installing cc 2018
