"Updates to your Creative Cloud Photography plan"

Community Beginner ,
Sep 18, 2025 Sep 18, 2025

I got the following email:

"The price of the Photography plan (20GB) annual, billed monthly plan is changing from US$9.99/month to US$14.99/month (plus applicable taxes) on your next renewal date. To maintain your effective current base rate (excluding any promotions) you can change your subscription to an annual, prepaid plan.

Regrettably, this option is unavailable.

When I attempt to “manage my plan,” the only available option is “Cancel your plan.”

Where is the option to prepay annually? In fact, it seems there is no way to “maintain my effective current base rate.”

Thanks for tagging me, @kglad.

@nicolasd99861527 I don't see anything under your account that would prevent you from converting your plan to a prepaid annual subscription. Have you tried using a different browser or device to complete the suggestions offered by Kglad at https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/change-plan.html.

Thanks. I logged in to my acount using Chrome and Safari.

Same result: when I click on Manage plan, the only visible option is "Cancel you plan", end your service.

Nothing else is accessible.

I have this same problem. There is no option to convert to yearly billing - only to cancel. @Jeffrey_A_Wright this is affecting multiple people

Whatever the device, whatever the browser, the result is the same.

It is an Adobe issue.

The email I received on 09/02 was clear:

We hope you are enjoying the apps and services in your Photography plan (20GB) subscription. We want to share an important update about your subscription.

The price of the Photography plan (20GB) annual, billed monthly plan is changing from US$9.99/month to US$14.99/month (plus applicable taxes) on your next renewal date. To maintain your effective current base rate (excluding any promotions) you can change your subscription to an annual, prepaid plan.

So I'm just asking: To maintain my effective current base rate (excluding any promotions), where is my option to change my subscription to an annual, prepaid plan ? I don't even see annual prepaid plans on the page you sent... Only very expensive monthly plans.

As a matter of fact, a 50% increase is obviously no enough... If so, it could be the end of my story with Adobe 🥺

I think the problem is that the 20 GB plan is no longer available. The current Photography Plan is 1TB only.

See below for Photography Plan options.

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography/compare-plans.html

Cancel your old plan before subscribing to a new one.

Hope that helps.

I received the same offer to maintain the price by switching to annual payment.

Was this sent in error?

If you click the link above and click on BUY NOW button, you'll be taken to a new page with more options.

And you'll be given the opportunity to switch plans.

Hope that helps.

I believe the communication may have been sent in error. It may have been referring to the new Lightroom-only plan which when billed annually maintains the $9.99/mo price.

If that's the case then a follow up correction would be appreciated.

I clicked on the BUY NOW button, and the only photography plan (lightroom + photoshop etc) I see is a $20 (sorry... $19.99) monthly plan, which is a 100% increase of my current rate...

I do not see ANY annual, prepaid plan, and I clearly not maintain my effective current base rate...
