Last night, I was charged $44 for an annual renewal of my Adobe account. After I was charged, I cancelled the auto-renewal and received an email saying that my cancellation request has been processed and my account is now a free membership. My account has reverted to the free version.
My question is will I receive a refund for the $44 that I was charged for the coming year since I no longer have access to that level of membership? I intend on renewing my account, but I want to do so at the educator rate ($14). Also, will I be charged a termination fee if I am going to renew my membership under a different rate? Thanks for any help or advice!

Typically, if you cancel an annual plan, you owe the full amount of the year. However, Adobe waive half of that. (No you do not get half the year's usage in return, as some people hope).
