Registerred and paid for a subscription with the wrong email address

Hello,

 

as mentioned, I have registerred and paid for a subscription with the wrong email address.

Did not verify it, nore I have put in a mobile phone number.

Now I cannot access my account anymore. I am in a infinite loop of adobe sending me a verification code to the email address which is not mine.

So, after alot of back and forth on my part I reached a real person on the Adobe end with typing "agent" into the chat a few times. Explained everything to the lovely person in the chat named "Shalom". He understood and has cancelled the plan with the wrong email and refunded the payment. However get this. Since I had to open another account just to get to some kind of help (forum included)... I have in the haste opened a new account directly in the adobe cloud app. Now there for the photo packa

Thank you. Was there already. Nothing works without a verification of the mail.

I have my Adobe Screen Name, Proof of purchase however any of the automatic helps (virtual help) wont ask me about this. I have already paid again with another subscription just to get here to the forum and ask for help for the first account which I paid a few days ago.

you may not be able to use chat. if so use twitter/x.

 

there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter (now x):

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter/x:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

I have in the haste opened a new account directly in the adobe cloud app. Now there for the photo package (Lightroom, Photoshop) there is no discount (11.99.- Euro) for the first year like it is online (9.59 Euro). Now what did my helper Shalom do? He refunded me this one also and reactivated the new account for 9.59 Euro per Month. You got to love the Adobe support team and especially Shalom. Great job. Thank you guys here on the top responses that led me to the finish.
