Hello,
I have a monthly student subscription for a year.
The student subscription expires end of this month. I received a notification to start my 7 day free trial and I had to start that trial because there was no other option available to continue using that account even though it finishes end of october.
I can see in my account settings that my account is set to monthly payment and there is no end date.
Question:
Will the system allow me to continue using the account going forward from the end of the month?
Does the renewal automatically take place?
And why did I have to start the 7 days trial?
I've attached the notifcation that came up for me

your subscription should not end early. if you checked your account and see your annual subscription is not still active when (you think) it should be, using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
click contact us (= cryptic icon in the lower right)
in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
what should happen is your annual subscription should continue until its termination date and then automatically renew. it should not revert to a trial.
but first things first. contact support to find out why your annual subscription ended early.

Your plan is automatically renewed until you cancel it.
Ensure your payment details are current.

Make sure you're signed-in to your PAID plan.
1. Open CC Desktop App.
2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
3. Click on your Avatar again.
4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
5. Close all apps.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Open CC Desktop app.
8. Click your Avatar.
9. Sign-in with your paid ID and password.
