I couldn't believe it when I tried to cancel my subscription plan today. I overlooked the initial 14 day policy and got sucked into an annual plan that I didn't even knew I signed up for.
so i received my 1st bill, although not pleased, I paid for it thinking I would be able to cancel my plan a month later. To my shock, I saw I had to pay over a $100 as 50% penalty for early cancellation. In the first place I thought I was signing up to a monthly subscription plan and clearly NOT an annual plan. As I navigate through the website to search for customer support to deal with my issue, to my dismay I was directed to a chatbot who couldn't help me. Then I was led to 800-833-6687 number that clearly wasn't toll-free hence I wouldn't be able to reach any support personnel. If anyone could just respond to me here or via my inbox, I would be extremely grateful. I do not want to continue paying for something that I'm not going to use for the next 11 months until I'll find my next opportunity to cancel the plan and I bet when that time comes, Adobe wouldn't send me a reminder and I would probably forget and get myself into another auto-renewal that will lead to a never ending cycle. This company has absolutely no business ethics. Just out to con customers. Can an Adobe personnel please reach out to me within the next 48hours to put a closure to this saga that is stressing me out. Thank you!

Thanks John for the instructions on how to connect to an Adobe agent. Appreciate the caution on scammers too. I'll just wait for someone to contact me via my Adobe inbox.
Cheers!

It's a shame you didn't read the terms you agreed to. Unfortunately, ignorance is not an excuse. The 50% early cancellation fee can be avoided by waiting until your 12th month of service to cancel your annual plan. If you had ordered the costlier month-to-month plan, you could cancel without penalty fees. But it doesn't sound like that's what you ordered.

Indeed – but Adobe cannily hides the date we commenced the plan from us. Can you actually tell me where [removed by moderator] this information is within my account details? I cannot for the life of me find the commencement date for my annual 'monthly paid subscription'.

It still doesn't tell me when my 'subscription' expires. Don't worry I paid the £50 early cancellation fee to get out of my subscription.
