Hi there,

Where should I go to get Adobe to refund me? I don't know who used my card information to pay for the subscription. It could be someone I helped before, but we no longer communicate with this person.

The bank where I have an account has long queues, and they will hardly understand what needs to be done. Also, it has been five days since the transaction (I was on vacation). Please don't suggest calling Adobe - I don't speak English well enough to communicate over the phone. Just email or chat.

I would be grateful for your help.

contact your card issuer and report fraud.  they'll understand.

you can contact adobe via chat, but that won't stop the problem from recuring tomorrow and won't stop the problem from occuring with different vendors.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe; chat and twitter:

chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

You need to talk to somebody at the bank that knows how to cancel your card and fraudulent charges to it, and then issue you a new card.  If the employees are not competent, then ask to speak to a manager.

and you don't need to wait in any line at the bank.  those are NOT the people that handle credit card fraud.

look at the back of your card.  there's a phone number to call to report this.  if you're not comforable on the phone, ask a friend or neighbor to help you.

>could be someone I helped before

I never give ANYONE access to my credit card

1 - contact the fraud people at your credit card company

2 - contact the police to have the person arrested
