Is it possible to pay for a subscription with a virtual card issued/registered outside my country of residence?

The discussions here seem to suggest that Adobe check that the card country matches your country of residence. And in some countries a debit/prepaid card is not accepted.

While trying to purchase a subscription, please make sure the country on your card matches the country mentioned on your Adobe account. All the billing details should also match.
