The Adobe license we bought was a fraud!

my colleague and I received an email from the dutch minister of education. Apparently we bought a adobe student license without knowing it. We payed a lot of money for literally nothing.. After a google research we unfortunately found out that the website where we buyed the license (office digital) is a fraud! What do we have to do now? Can we get a discount on a new adobe package?!

You would need to take fraud up with the police. The fraud people are  stealing from you AND from Adobe. It is very sad, this is organised crime on a huge scale.

This sounds like an elaborate Phishing Scheme.  I'm certain your Dutch Ministry of Education would like to know about it if they don't already.  There are countless impostors on the Internet these days.  They will say and do anything to get your money.  Never take anything at face value without investigating first.  If it's too good to be true, it's probably not worth having.

Since you did not purchase directly from Adobe, you have no recourse except to contact local law enforcement.  If they stole from you and your colleague, chances are they stole from many other people, too.
