THE PLAN AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS EVEN AFTER CANCELLATION?

I canceled my anual plan in September and was informed that I would have an additional free month of usage in October. I agreed to the free month and DID NOT agree to any plan renewal. However my plan noww has gone up to $57.99, and it's truly too expensive for me. I paid for the October plan in order to cancel it, and now Adobe is asking me to pay an additional $300? I emphasize that I CANCELED MY PLAN IN SEPTEMBER AND DIT NOT RENEW IT. How can I cancel the plan and not be charged the $300!

contact adobe support asap.  there are 2 ways to contact adobe support; chat and twitter (now x):

in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
