I used the trial period because I needed to edit the one pdf I would probably ever need to. I was editing it over the course of the work week and after finishing I forgot to cancel within the week. I thought it was no big deal I will take a $15 hit for the month subsciption but no. If I want to cancel I have to pay an additional $30 because it is a year contract. GFY adobe, this isn't a gym membership.
For the last few months, Adobe has provided information on cancellation fees and the date by which you need to cancel on the trial page.

Sorry, but when you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you buy a subscription... https://www.adobe.com/legal/subscription-terms.html

It isn't a mystery why there are so many related conversations. Subscriptions for software should NEVER use this structure. I am not saying they hid information or did anything illegal. I am just saying they are scum for structuring it that way.
