Updating Apps... Two Versions of Photoshop and InDesign

Hello. On the Install/Updater page there are two versions of Photoshop (v21.0 and v20.0.7) and Indesign (v14.0.3 and v15.0). Why are there two versions? Thanks.

On bigger updates ex. Photoshop 20 to Photoshop 21 the older version were kept on the machine by default. You can mark the option that the older version is deinstalled during the update installation.

 

That's for safety if there are errors or incompatibilities with the new version. If you are happy with the new version you can deinstall the older version.

No you can't. You have to manually uninstall, which I wouldn't do because the new version works like crap and you will have to go back to the old one.
