Using ApplePay

Just spent 30 minutes with Adobe Support trying to update payment method for subscription.  I use Apple Pay for security, and it's time to update info.  Adobe's account site just asks for my name address and phone, then shows 'Pay $0.00' I click Accept, and nothing happens.  After contacting support, they kept trying to get me to send them numbers and info from another card, and didn't want to let me update my Apple Pay info.  I use Apple Pay because of security.  I was transfered at least 3 times to other agents, then finally just cut off.  Does Adobe not want my subscription fee anymore? Does Adobe no longer take Apple Pay?  What a hassle.

John, I am sorry, but Apple Pay is not currently accepted for purchases made through Adobe directly. Please follow the instructions at https://adobe.ly/3VWl8Ko and enter your Apple card information when requested.

thanks for the reply.  Apple Pay is my current payment method on my account, and has been for the last year, and has been charged each month for the past year.  Not sure what changed.  Your payment site even has an ApplePay button on it and when I click it asks for my name and address.

Thanks for the update, John, if you continue to have problems, then please try the suggestion I have offered. The process provided by Apple allows you to use Apple Pay wherever Mastercard is accepted. ^JW

thanks for the reply, so what you are saying is that adobe no longer takes the secure Apple Pay, but they will accept an Apple Credit card if you use the less secure method of plugging in the actual numbers like any common card.

My apologies, John. Apple Pay is currently accepted in the country where your account is registered. It is not accepted in all countries where Adobe does business, so this discussion is not applicable to future viewers of this public forum discussion.

 

Try using a different web browser, as Kglad has suggested. I don't see any interactions with our support team, only your posts in this public discussion forum, so your inability to update your payment information or reach someone could be related.

if something's not working correctly for you on adobe's website, use a different browser (esp, a mobile browser).

Thanks - but I was using Adobe's own Creative Cloud app - still broken there - they have the Apple Pay logo that allows you to click, but it just asks for name and address, then you click accept and pay and it does nothing.  then if you ask support for help, they transfer you several times, then just drop yo before actiually helping with anything, or tell you just to give htem your physical credit card numbers - very unprofesional and not secure
