Why has the price jumped so much?

I have used this app for 2 maybe 3 years and my subscription is up... new phone means for some reason I cannot log into any Gmail related anything so I'm letting that subscription pass (runs out in Jan anyway) I've remade an account and saw it is now $100 more expensive!? However I still had the chance to "renew" my old account at the same price I've paid every other year ($56 which obviously I would do if I could bloody well get into it hahah) am I dumb or is this a mistake ?
