Hello
Hopefully someone on Adobe will see this.
I bought my plan via an Amazon Prime Day deal, £71 for a year.
I went to my current plan to cancel it and saw I'd be charged £29 to do that. I thought I was on a month by month deal, obviuously auto renews without making this clear, so I decided to keep my voucher code until it ended.
I went to the Adobe chabot to make contact with a real person, as it says you will, and it starts by be automated seeming. I was there to ask a question of what day I could cancel but it kept giving me 4 options of topics. All I wanted to know was what date I could cancel so it would not start my current plan up and it clearly states talk to a real person.
I couldn't get an answer, I even asked for a call me, and they said they'd ring in under one minute. No call came, and I planned to investigate the next day.
Wake up the next morning and get an email saying my sub had been cancelled even though at no stage did I ask for it to be, what would be the point of being charged £29 to end when I could just see it out and apply the new sub voucher at the end.
This morning, on the advice of this forum, I went on the chat here and got through to an advisor. I stated all of the above and susprise surprise it can't be reversed. I then said could we elevate this please as I did not cancel my sub and she prompted ended the chat.
Every part of this is disgusting behaviour, and would be interested if any moderator on here reads this and gives me some advice on how I can get this rectified.
Why on earth with I end a subscription early and pay £29 not to use it, that would make absolutely zero sense, and why on earth is an chatbot miscostruing me asking about ending subscriptions as ending it. This all feels like a con. If you gonna take my £29 let me use it for the rest of the term, why is it ended there and then?
