Why am I trapped in a one year commitment? Does this company not make enough from subscription fees from government and commerical contracts and subscriptions that they have to trap other average users in un-cancellable commitments?

I had to have this software to insert ONE signature. I figured that no big deal I will cancel before the end of the trial subscription. Well I had to go on an active duty deployment and couldn't cancel; I tried to call every call goes straight to a busy/disconnected tone. I figured that Adobe was a big enough company, they may work with me once I am able to cancel. To my suprise, they are not. 

I don't need this software or want it, please help me out here. but probably not since... well the title says it all.

Because you agreed... When you 'click to agree' to the subscription terms while buying a subscription, that means that you really do need to read BEFORE you enter your credit card number to buy a subscription...
