I bought the black Friday student plan from adobe, registering with my university email, yet when I log onto my account and click on 'plan' it tells me I have no plan. An email confirming the payment has arrived at my University email address so I know the payment went through.
I can't seem to contact any Adobe responsible directly which is VERY frustrating: when I click on the 'contact' or 'help' buttons I get a window saying I should 'contact my IT administrator'. If the plan is not going to work then I WANT MY MONEY back.

you'll probably need to wait until monday (pst) for adobe to register your payment.
in the meantime, you can use the 7 day free trial apps. install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.
if you have trouble downloading, use the alternative download site at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
and using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
click contact us (in the lower right)
in the chat field, type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
sign into the cc desktop app using the same adobe id used to purchase your subscription.

Thank you for your response.
I haven't opted for the trial in fear of being charged, would that be the case? How would I be able to switch to my plan once the original payment reaches adobe?
Unfortunately, I've tried clicking on the 'contact us' button and there is no way for me to type in the chat. This is what appears each time.

you must cancel or confirm your (student) subscription within the 7days or you will be charged.
going from trial to subscription is seamless. you install the cc desktop app and use it to install your adobe programs. they'll show as trials until your subscription goes through.
you just want to make sure you have a student subscription before 7 days.
wait until mon pst to contact, if your account still shows no student subscription.
