I've had my own individual plan for years, and am looking to do freelance logo design work. Since I'm the only one building the finished products, do I need to switch to a business plan for my finished products to be utilized by businesses?

No.  You switch to a business plan (Teams/Entperprise) when you hire a team of designers to work for you. https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/business/teams/plans.html   [Moving to Account, Payment & Plans.]

What Nancy said.

>>>do I need to switch to a business plan for my finished products to be utilized by businesses?

No. Commercial use is permitted for Individual and Business Plans.

The only reason to switch to a Business Plan is if you're working in a team environment and you want to centrally manage the deployment of apps and licenses from a central console. It's really only for administration purposes.
