Has anyone ever had them ask for the first six and last four of you card # to examine your bill? They have charged me three times in one month. I'm attempting to get a refund. Now the chat guy is asking for the first six of my card on file.

Yes, it's common practice to ask for 6 + 4 on a 16-25 digit card number.   You're not being asked for the entire number, just 2 parts of it to ensure you are the right account holder.
