Is it legal / illegal to buy redemption code from this merchant?

He said that it is 100% original because he bought the licenses / redemption codes from wholesale at one of the markeplace out there.

Chandran76872851, I would recommend you avoid using redemption codes unless it is for a current software release, and is purchased through a reputable seller.  Many redemption codes are no longer able to be redeemed due to the age of the software release.
