Lost half my software in the divorce

Hey! I have my photoshop and premiere elements 9 disc and serial codes! Unfortunetly my silly ex won't give me the dics for the updated photoshop. I have CS2 (pre-wed). Which is so outdated it won't take the elements 9. I'm a photographer and single mom; he's a huge jerk.  

Anyway to get around buying it again?

Elements 9 MAY install and run on Windows 10 but absolutely will NOT do so on Mac Catalina

What is your operating system and have you tried to install your version 9?

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions

Really sorry about your divorce.  Some people get fiercely protective over insignificant things.  I remember fighting with my ex over a damned waffle iron which he didn't even know how to use!

The best advice I have for you is to upgrade to modern software.  Elements 9 and CS2 are way too outdated to care about.  And best of all, modern software understands modern cameras and computers.  You decide which is best for you.
