DEAR ADOBE, please remove the DEBIT card option from the order form, if debit cards are not accepted. You are wasting my time trying to use different debit cards and then receiving this information via chat support. This is a ridiculous and unacceptable user experience from a company like you!

Hi Mart1n2,

Sorry you've encountered difficulty with that. However, it must be something particular to the card or account you were using – because whether for perpetual software licenses or for recurring subscriptions payments, Adobe customers definitely can pay with a debit card instead...

So debit cards are indeed accepted, and some folks use this and keep their cards loaded with enough to cover the regular Creative Cloud membership cost.

This is primarily a user-to-user Forum – so we don't really have the power to help you further here, unfortunately... The only folks who have the ability to address account payment issues is Adobe Customer Care themselves. You should be able to reach them via live online chat or possibly phone:

https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

They also should be able to tell you more about your particular card not being accepted. Apologies for the inconvenience.
