Hey,

I have used PS and the various photo editing software for years.   My son is now getting to the age where he woud like to tinker in the App so that he can learn it and use some of the benefits for school.

Why does Adobe not offer a "Family" subscription option to support kids downloading and learning the applications for school and for future use.  It would be great that while they are living at home that they should be able to get the software.

The student rate is the best deal around.  60% off for the first year and 40% off thereafter until s/he graduates or cancels.  Creative Cloud apps may be installed on up to 2 machines at a time (home/school or laptop/desktop).  Some restrictions apply.  See below for details.

Another option to consider is buying Photoshop Elements (no annual subscription required).  Compared to Photoshop, PSE is a light version with fewer bells & whistles but the learning curve is not nearly as steep.  This might be a better starting point for beginners.
