Öffnen von PDF Dokumenten mit Doppelklick funktioniert unzuverlässig

Ich kann Acrobat Dokumente mit Doppelklick öffnen, allerdings

funktioniert dies nur direkt nach dem Start von Acrobat. Nachdem

ich einige Dokumente offen hatte und wieder geschlossen habe,

hängt sich Acrobat beim Öffnen von PDFs mit Doppelklick auf. Manchmal wird das

PDF dann im Nachhinein angezeigt, nachdem ich Acrobat erzwungen beendet habe.

Meine Acrobat-Version ist Acrobat Pro DC Version 2021.005.20048

Mein Betriebssystem: macOS Big Sur 11.4 auf iMac 27" 2020 i7, 16GB Ram 

Für Lösungsvorschläge bin ich sehr Dankbar.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear about your experience. As described, opening PDF documents with double click works unreliable as sometimes the PDFs open after you force quit the Adobe Acrobat DC.

As you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC installed. Please try to reboot the computer once and see if that works for you.

If it doesn't work, please try to reset the Acrobat preferences to default as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792... and see if that helps.

Also, you may create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.
