I tried the same combination of file types, and it converted just fine at our end. It may have been a temporary issue, I assume. During such a situation, if you have an Adobe Acrobat Subscription, you also have access to Acrobat Web: https://Acrobat.com. You can try converting files using Acrobat Web as well.
