Acrobat crashes always when opening a pdf containing a 3D-Object. I have a Macbook M1 and my settings for 3D and Multimedia are OpenGL 1.4 as render option (If i use software, the object is shown very poorly) and it somehow worked one time for a few seconds before crashing but now i just need to open the pdf and it crashes instantly. My OS is 14.0 Sonoma. Does somebody know what i can do?

Hi @Hannes33336315xe9q
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
What is the version of the Acrobat Pro you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.06.20360 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
If it still doesn't work, share the Crash/freeze logs https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html you may share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud and generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.

Amal

Hi, i use the recent version and it only crashes with pdf files containing 3D-Objects, all normal pdf files with just text and images seem to work normal. And it only crashes while using OpenGL 1.4 as renderer because the quality with software rendering is not very good. Somehow when i open the pdf with software rendering, it doesn´t crash and when i change to OpenGL 1.4 it works as well. But when i have OpenGL 1.4 as render option and want to open any 3D containing pdf it crashes immediately.
