So, I had to upgrade using my friend's email, yet I was able to use my email address for my login. Screwed up process. I uninstalled ane reinstalled without success. I just canceled the trial. This the second day of non-use.
I don't choose to spend my valuable time first trying to navigate the worst forum interface I've ever encountered in 42 years in tech and then, more of my time doing just what I'm doing here; looking for a needle in a convoluted haystack; a simple solution to the enigma of an upgrade process. The trial is not for me, but for my neighbor who can't write. One would think Adobe would have this process perfected after 50 years.
I support folks who are unable to navigate counter-intuitive, convoluted processes like the corrupted upgrade to Acrobat Pro and the support forum design. It's acutely frustrating to encounter something that should be easy and straight forward, but instead finding a rat's nest of unintuitive circular processes.
So, if Adobe can't provide a solution, there's always google docs.
