I created a Word Ducument using Arial font (our corporate standard) and converted it to PDF to create a a fillable form. (14 pages)
The converted file is in Aptos and I now can't edit text with Adobe.
Anyone else run into this?
Anyone have a solution other than re-editing the original or converting every feild within the PDF?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Ok. So Aptos is a Microsoft cloud font that seems to only be available to Microsoft apps.
I think I'm having the same issue as you. I have a PDF that I needed to edit and when I tried to edit it popped up a tooltip saying that Aptos is not available or can't be edited. I fixed this by copying the aptos cloud font into the C:\windows\fonts folder. Voila! Now adobe can use and edit in this font.
I found the cloud font on my PC by seaching the entire C: drive for "Aptos". It'll take a while, but eventually a folder called "Aptos" will pop up with a bunch of ttf files in it. I just copied all these files over to the windows fonts folder. When asked if you would like to replace the installed fonts, I just clicked "Yes". Works beautifully.
If you have trouble finding the fonts, let me know. I can send them in a zip file.
