a PDF in Turkisch language gives strange unreadable characters

client receives a PDF in Turkisch from a customer but by opening this file, the content is not readable. I already have installed additional packages for spelling and gramar, but this has no influence. What else can I try? Thanks in advance...

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

It looks like the font issue. Either the fonts are not properly embedded into the PDF file during creation, or the font is not available on your system or you may not have the required permission to use this font.

Also, go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > preferences > Page Display > Under rendering, Select 'Use Local Fonts' > Click OK and reboot the computer once and check.

These files do not contain embedded fonts, so they relies on the fonts installed in the system.
