A PDF that Acrobat displays badly and everything else displays correctly

Here is PDF (created by Ghostscript's GhostPCL sofrtware from PCL5 print data) that Acrobat for Windows displays with a river of white space near the right-hand margin, and which everything else I've tried displays correctly. Is there a setting in Acrobat that would fix this? Or is it a bug in Acrobat? The same display error occurs in Illustrator. The PDF prints correctly when I send it to a modern LaserJet.

 

I've never seen anything like this before. Any enlightenment would be very welcome.
